I definitely wouldn't call it a grocery store, it's more like a vegan convenience store. And though the staff is friendly, and you can get some moderately priced veg snacks (banana bread, cookies, chocolates), there's still so much left to be desired. To be fair, they haven't been open for long though. And again about the staff, they are super helpful, sweet, and chatty. I was accidentally over-charged, and I even chose to take the opportunity of returning to the store as a chance to return something I had bought there as well. They explained that as far as the product I returned went, (a very over priced lip pencil with zero pigment or staying power), it was from a random vendor they just started working with. Vegan Essentials had one in Wisconsin, but is closed for now, according to their website and is strictly online at the moment. There's also Cosmo's Vegan Shoppe in Atlanta, Georgia and Sidecar for Pigs Peace in Seattle, Washington. Hopefully I'll get to check some of these places out someday. If any of you guys know about other vegan shops in the country, please post a comment and let me know!
