OK. I know. I’ve definitely failed at finishing the travel blog from my last trip (which happened October 2008 – October 2009).
I just got so far behind, caught up in projects at home, then it started to feel like such an overwhelming task to keep up with. And somehow 8 weeks turns into 8 months. Wow. Crazy how time flies.
Anyway, long story short…I’ll be going on another trip in July and I’m planning to blog about that trip as well (well actually I have to blog about it).
So in an effort to get all caught up and ready to post about my new trip, I’ll be posting frequent posts over the next few weeks. Some will just be dates and pictures. Others will be cryptic notes without much explanation. The idea is for these to serve as temporary placeholders until I find the time to go back, reminisce, and fill in all the details.
Sorry for that, but that’s how it has to be. And especially sorry if you signed up to get email updates and start getting flooded with these posts all at once. But this will help speed things up a bit and get me back on track so I can continue on with the new blog posts.

/ May 23, 2010That makes sense, Cristen. It’s so hard to fully understand and appreciate your experiences before time has passed. It’s an overwhelming process to document so much and I’m glad you came up with a short cut to help you organize it. I hope this works better for you–and is more easy to stay on track with–then the huge number of posts you did/are still in the process of doing from your year long trip.
